Axis Bank Reports 131% Surge In Quarterly Profit, Beats Street Estimates

Axis Bank said on Tuesday its net profit rose to Rs 1,681 crore ($236.42 million) for the three months to December 31 from Rs 726 crore a year earlier.

A man who abducted a toddler for her childless sister has been arrested and the minor was rescued from his house in Garhi village here, police said on Wednesday.
