The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Sunday issued a notice to the Uttar Pradesh government over reported death of a five-year-old girl due to starvation and illness in Agra.

A man who abducted a toddler for her childless sister has been arrested and the minor was rescued from his house in Garhi village here, police said on Wednesday.
