RTI Shows Over 3.8 Crore People Didn't Get 2nd Covid Vaccine Dose In Time

Over 3.86 crore people did not get their second dose of anti-Covid vaccines - Covishield and Covaxin - within the stipulated period of time, the government has said in response to an RTI query.

Taiwan, Malaysia, Philippines Join India In Rejection Of China's "New Map"

Governments of the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Taiwan on Thursday joined India in rejecting China's new national map, issuing strongly worded statements accusing Beijing of claiming their territory. China published a new version of its national map on Monday to correct what Beijing has in the past referred to as "problematic maps" that it claims misrepresent its territorial borders. India on Tuesday lodged a strong protest with China over its so-called "standard map" laying claim over Arunachal Pradesh and the Aksai Chin, and asserted that such steps only complicate the resolution of the boundary question. The External Affairs Ministry also rejected China's claims as having "no basis". Watch: Venomous Eastern Brown Snake Found Hiding Inside Office Printer

People are scared of snakes as these reptiles have a notorious reputation for sliding into the trickiest of spots. Encountering a snake is more common than people think as snakes camouflage themselves cleverly. In one such recent incident, a receptionist working in an office in Sydney was left terrified after she spotted an Eastern Brown snake lurking in one of the printers, reported Newsweek .  Sydney-based snake rescuers from Australian Snake Catchers were immediately called to remove the reptile safely. The handlers first moved the entire printer to the outside of the building before extracting the reptile. A professional then opened the paper drawer using a long snake hook to coax the snake out of hiding. He then hooked the snake from the back of the printer before grabbing hold of its tail.
